I'm curious whether anyone else has tried meditation to deal with their ADHD. I've tried meditation for my anxiety, and found that it did help a little bit with my concentration. I wouldn't call it a cure all. But it was at least a little bit helpful.
Now all I have to do is start meditating again.

I've done it and found it helpful. The challenge was staying with it.
Something I learned about it is that the ability to meditate grows with time. The reality is that many of us have noisy brains and a noisy brain makes meditation more difficult. What I found helpful was to meditate while taking a walk. The activity enabled my brain to quiet down some- still noisy but less so.
If snowy tundra ever defrosts, I'll try walking again.

Active meditation is about the only way I've been able to meditate. Out in nature seems to work best for me too, all that fresh air I guess.

I'll echo that the hardest part is keeping up with it. Between the normal distractions of life, a job, two young kids, and all the rest, it's hard for me to set aside time for meditation.

tried meditation back when i tried to be a buddhist. the one time i did successfully meditate it took me over 2 hours to focus on one thing alone, then about another to focus on nothing.
i dont think i can meditate unless intoxicated in a mellow way cuz my mind uncontrollably jumps to millions of things back and forth in a given second. plus i dont have the time really...well this summer i do since i dont have anything to do (really pissed about how that turned out) but i dont want to meditate

I have found meditation or prayer (Jewish) quite helpful if done on a regular basis. I currently practice mindfulness meditation 5 mins a morning.

I think regularity of practice might be more significant than duration per session, since forgetting what's important is a hallmark of ADHD!
