Want to feel better psychologically? Adopt a healthy lifestyle! Not so simple, as many of us can attest. Sometimes our mental health has too much of an impact on our physical health for changing physical habits. I ran across this open-access meta-analysis called: Psychological Well-Being Revisited: Advances in the Science and Practice of EudaimoniaIt might not have a ton of answers, but it covers a broad range of emotional factors that can impact our health. Here's a table of "Definitions of theory-guided dimensions of well-being"It goes over a lot of different aspects of our lives that can affect our well-being, and how they might impact our health. I think it's important to consider this when assuming that the connection between physical health and mental health seems to be presented as more unidirectional than it is.
