I can't believe that this study is being called good by anyone. I can't believe it got published in the JAMA. They called women and asked them if they'd taken acetominophen while they were pregnant and compared it to rates of ADHD in their children. No, they didn't ask when they had taken it, or when during the pregnancy, how often, or how much. Just if they'd taken it. Look, I get that it's not as safe as it's been made out to be, but this is really pretty ridiculous.

Faylen, grant that this study is specious at best. What it *maybe* accomplished was that it brought the concept of ADHD back into news focus. What I've done with this is to reach out to anyone I saw cover this study and introduce them to the idea that ADHD is (a) real, and (b) generally genetic in origin.
Will it help? I don't know. It might.

Well, it got me a few more Twitter followers. Heh. As it turns out, it was somewhat extensive and did ask for more specific answers than most articles reported, but still, it was a phone poll and all answers were self-reported. That's not research.
