So in my Google Newsfeed this morning, I see an article about this campaign, with celebrities coming out about having ADHD. Seems like a PSA, but then I get down to the bottom and it says
which we all know is total bull. Pardon my French. So sure enough, I go do a search for the "campaign," and what do I find? Well, first of all, a data-mining attempt (give us your email for a chance to win an amazon gift card!!!!) and then, surprise surprise, a "brain training" program sales pitch, and a "free gift" of stuff you can find on the CDC website (a $155 value!) if you buy. Shire has a campaign with a similar name, but it's nowhere near as insidious as this new one, which is not required to provide valid health information. Don't you love when people try to take advantage of you?

Looking at the two, I wonder which one came first? I can't track down for certain which one is directly linked to the video campaign, as both are referencing it in their pages, and both pages are hosted by the same site. Curiouser and curiouser.
