I don't claim to be well-organized, not by a long shot. But ever since I got a smart phone, I've come at least a few steps closer. My wife and I can share a calendar on the phone, and that calendar can beep to remind me when I have something going on. Then there are a few apps (most notably Evernote) that allow me to keep track of some pieces of information that would otherwise disperse into the ether.
As I say, it's no panacea. But it's a great first step. Have others found this to be the case as well?

For some things, yes. I can't use it for everything. Having to be connected makes it difficult for me to use on-line to-do lists or take notes, and apps that require multiple steps to get to the part I want are useless to me. I remember things better when I've written them down by hand, too. Google calendar is great for me.
