Alternative Medicine Treatments for ADHD (and why they are bunk)There are links. Good links. I'm not even going to promote this thread on Twitter and facebook, as I usually do when I post here, but share the link itself. However, I think we could get on a really good roll here compiling a list of what else doesn't work for ADHD. Right away I can think of: Feingold Diet Crawling therapy (forget what "sciency" name that goes by) Craniosacral therapy Anything that involves Mount Athos.

Oh, wait. I did end up promoting this thread. But I still promoted the article first. Short attention span. Outrageous impulsivity. Only meds will remedy that.

And Jaak Panksepp, who thinks we are nothing but giant rats. Complex Unconditioned Emotional Responses, my arse. I'm also very concerned that Temple Grandin's treatments for ADHD might include humane slaughterhouses - but I don't think she actually says any of the things about ADHD that other people say she's saying.
Epigenetics in the brain - which doesn't happen after birth. Can you imagine what drooling idiots we would be if our neurons were constantly dying off and replacing themselves with unconnected clones?
Quantum mechanics when used to describe anything that isn't Physics.
